CERN Accelerating science

Adam Lukasz Krajewski

Technical area:

Adam holds a B.Sc. degree in Electronics, Information Technology and Telecommunications and a M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications, both from the Warsaw University of Technology in Poland. He joined CERN for the first time in 2013 as an openlab Summer Student contributing to the "ViSION" project, which aimed to optimize network resource utilization through a Software Defined Networking (SDN) approach. Afterwards, Adam has worked as an intern in Orange R&D Poland focusing on Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) research and as a Software Engineer in Computaris - a telecom software development and integration company. Adam returned to CERN in 2014 as a Technical Student working in the Communication Systems group and joined openlab as a fellow software engineer in November 2015. Within the CERN openlab collaboration with Brocade, Adam works on the development of an intelligent network steering that leverages SDN to improve network traffic management.
